The sturdy white painted heel is enveloped in an perspex protective case, it looks bit like packaging and almost makes you think it is a part that should have been taken off before wearing it. Or it could be some sort of fragrance bottle that you’re standing on. I love the ambiguity of that heel, and I love that John Galliano has that same kind of sense of humor as the maison. On that note, these are also my very first Margiela piece by John Galliano.
